When my Malibu Comics art partner Kevin West and I were invited to the 1997 Akron-Canton Ohio Comic Con we were also offered the chance to do the program book cover. Since we’d not done much material at that time with Wolverine we figured why not just slap him on the cover and get our chance. Speaking of of Kevin, sometime in ’97 I was asked by my Acclaim Comics editor and friend Lynaire Brust Thompson to ink two of his covers, each within a matter of hours, each in and out the same day. These were intended for the young readers digest ACCLAIM ADVENTURE ZONE on issues 6 and 7 with Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. But for whatever reason (I think the title was cancelled) the covers never saw print. Considering the rush job it was probably for the best.
