LIke the previous Ghost Rider entry, this was another pin-up commission I agreed to ink. And this time it was a Lynda Carter-inspired Wonder Woman image. There were a lot of rendered fine lines and I discussed with Geof the options of simulating the lines with ink lines and with greywash tones. Geof told me that he draws like that sometimes but didn’t expect me to ink everything that way….I could ink it without the meticulous lines although I could continue with the lines. I chose the latter.

After enlarging the 9X12 image to 11X17 and converting to blueline in Photoshop, I used a lot of brush on this one, mostly in the hair. But I also used Pitt brush and S markers and micronmarkers. I completed the Princess of Themyscira on August 16, 2012, although Geof didn’t color it yet. This was my 7th Geof job and my 9th Wonder Woman (10th if you count the group shot with her for the Velluto JLA#55 re-interpretation commission).
