My son informed me that Ivy is a character in the video game Soul Calibur, so yeah, she’s a 1st-timer for me! James Cline’s 2nd commission with me is my first one inking Diego, one of the Brazilian-based sequential/pin-up artists. The 11X17 pencil art was on an unidentified 2-ply board that’s slightly off-white. I’ve inked on it before because when I use correction fluid on it you can see the color difference, plus the pencil lines do not erase well after the inking is done. I inked this one entirely in markers and I finished off a sheet of rub-on Instantex for the texture on the outfit. I sent this to the client on 11/24/2008.
