This commission marks the triumphant return of long-time client Larry Clay, this being my 9th piece from him. It’s also my 3rd art inked over Geof and my 3rd Hawkeye, everyone’s favorite Avenging archer. The very thick 9X12 board was a bleeder but after doing 85% of it in marker I decided to just wrap it out that way, a style that still looks very good over Geof’s work. Plus, I’m learning to adapt very well to boards that bleed. I was done with this on 7/28/2006.
