Brotherman was my 3rd Booth effort and my 8th commission for Damon who asked that I remove the cigarette and smoke. LIke the other Booth commissions, I used brush and marker but no quill since the “Blueline” brand board doesn’t take that tool very well. I decided to add to the background to add contrast to pop out the character. I used rub-on Instantex to fade off the black backdrop and drybrush with white paint to give the bg smoke a smoky texture. I also spattered & smudged some black ink on the bricks in the wall. This 11X17 job was completed on 12/20/03.
