New client Kris Fenol contacted me for the first time asking if I’d ink a pair of model sheets that new (for me) artist Brandon McKinney rendered for character Bayani that Kris created. After he sent the two files he decided to revise the content and delete a couple of head shots and have the symbols done in digital color sans ink. So I omitted those items when I converted the files to blueline onto my 11X17 2-ply Kubert board. I was also asked to make a couple of tweaks like minimize the shadowy areas on the figures, elaborate on where the costume ends on the neck, and tighten up the nose. I inked these with all my usual tools of brush (about 50% which is a lot for me these days) and micron and Pitt markers. I finished on 12/27/09.
