Hulk vs. Thing was my third Wyman commission. The client requested that he do a recreation of the image from the cover of FANTASTIC FOUR # 112 by John Buscema. But it wasn't quite a 'recreation' of the cover since the image was only about 8.5 X 11 and there wasn't cover copy (except the added "nuff said"). I intended to make the background black to match the actual cover but I began to question that option and the client & I ultimately decided against it. Inked in brush & marker the job was completed on 12/24/03.
