Sal & my next BP commission was 9 X 12 and the client wanted a 1.5" black bar behind the character. He has commissioned other artists to use the same motif over a series of Avengers characters that the artists are known for rendering...in the case of Panther he coveted us. Besides inking the art with my normal tools he asked me to color the original art as well. Using Pantone markers I did a quick prelim over a copy of the pencils first and then I colored the actual piece. It was completed on 7/8/03.
